How does strobe lights affect pregnancy?

I am curious about this because I am pregnant. I am due in five weeks but have only been around strobe lights/disco balls twice. Each time I have heard that strobe lights/disco balls affect pregnant women. First by a friend while at a party that had disco balls. The second time while attending a live theatrical play where a warning consent I had to sign about pregnant women and people with heart conditions to use extreme caution because strobe lights were being used. I was wondering how does it affect pregnant women that are not epileptic.

If your not epileptic then it would cause no problems at all
