Sticker Dog
What’s the best way to clean dog toys?

When my dog goes outside, I give her toys and stuff to play with. The majority are fabric toys. It was recently very windy and rainy, and a lot of her toys have stickers in them. I don’t want my dog playing with the toys that have stickers in them, and was curious if there is a way to get the stickers out, without having to pull each one out by hand.

I wouldn’t let your dog use fabric toys outside. Have inside toys (fabric, fluffy ect) and outside toys (made of rubber). These rubber things are easier to clean by either putting them in a bucket of water and dish soap solution or running them through a empty dishwasher cycle with soap. Plus, makes sure they aren’t bring their outside toys inside because they will bring all sorts of germs into your household.

Unfortunately, since you already have stickers in them you really don’t have much of a choice other than to pick them out one at a time. If you soak them in water for a while before they will start to slightly fall apart and you might be able to pick them out easier. Try using tweezers instead of your fingers so you don’t stick yourself.

I am assuming you are talking about the large stickers about the size of a nickle and not the little tiny ones. My dog as a child used to get into them all of the time and we would have to soak her in water and pull them out carefully.

Some LPS I got from Toys R’ Us♥
