English has a specific form to build sentences. The simplest form is “noun/verb”. “I write.” is a sentence: a pronoun (“I”) and a verb (“write”). The second form is “noun/verb/object”. The object receives the action of the verb. “I throw a ball.” is a sentence of this form. The “ball” receives the action of “throw”.
Email addresses have a similar form. That form is: -mailboxID- / -@- / location. Location is always a domain name, something in the form of “name.extension”, like “Yahoo.com” or “eBurgess.com”. The email address you typed is in the wrong form. You have the location or domain name, but you do not have the “verb” – the “at sign” = ” @ “. Nor do you have the mailboxID.
Suppose JoeSmith works at eBurgess.com . You could mail him via the address “JoeSmith@eBurgess.com”. See? What you have is incomplete.
You could try sending a note that their website is wrong where it posted its email address – try “Webmaster@eBurgess.com” . Or you could go back to the website and look for a “Contact Us” button. Click that and it should show you the email address for customers. Also try “sales@eBurgess.com”
Good luck.
