While the extra material may ensure comfort, it will present a sloppy and dishevelled appearance.
3> The leg of the pant should be loose but not baggy. You want to make certain that there is enough material to ensure that the seams do not appear to be pulled or stretched. The pant leg should be loose. Pants that are too tight will often have lines or bulges. On the other hand, if there is too much material, the pants will not hang properly and will wrinkle, and/or bunch and fold when the wearer is seated.
4> The length of the pants is critical. While a double break is popular on the streets, and in the bar scene, it is not suitable for the office. The most common length of pant is the single break. The break is the fold created in the material of the pants where it hits the top, front of the shoe. Pants should never hit the floor. At the back they should be about a half inch to an inch above the bottom of the shoe.
