What type of equipment do I need for trick riding?

I’ve been trying to get my mother to allow me to trick ride and I’d like to know what type of equipment I’d need before I begin. I’ve been looking at basic trick saddles and various strap but I’m not sure which type of bridle i’d use or if i need bell boots and other accesories.

If you do not have someone who is experienced at trick riding and knows how to teach you, you’re an accident waiting to happen. If you have an instructor to work with, you won’t need to ask this question.

You need an instructor who can guide you. Otherwise, make darn sure that you have the best major medical insurance policy you can buy and that everyone at the barn where you ride knows your medical contact and emergency contact information so they can make the necessary phone calls if you get hurt.
