Oster Equine
Did i get ripped off on these oster brushes?
ok, i noticed this while i was washing my two curry combs (a fine curry, which i got from the store, and a regular curry which i bought on ebay)
anyways, i noticed while i was washing them i noticed that the equine care series symbol started to wash off on the reg. curry, i rubbed it a bit with my finger and alas, both the oster name and symbol both came right off.
I checked to see if it was the same with all the ones i bought on ebay and indead, all the oster names and care series symbols just washed right off 
I also noticed that the medium bristle brush’s (got it from store) didn’t wash off
Does oster just make their brushes like this so that the names can get scratched or worn off on some brushes? or did i get scammed?

Not really it just mean you actually use your brushes. Some company’s use lesser quality ink on their products to save money. I wouldn’t worry about name brands too much as long as the brushes work. Don’t worry about it.
Personally I could not tell you the brand of any of my brushes I just make sure that they are of good quality and move on.
