horse boarding stable – can i do that?

ok so if i had 10 horse stalls and a storage room and tack room ect can i just rent them out or do i need a licence or somthing and have them so its all do it yorself so i don’t have to do anything to other peoples horses?
like they supply the food and bedding and they have to ride there horse and they have to muck out the stall and stuff and then make them sign somthing to say that if your horse gets sick or hurt its your falut and if your horse or tack gets stolen or lost it your falut and stuff like that so im not resbonsible? what else do i have to think about or get?

I’m pretty sure that you would be okay legally, as long as there were contracts set in place and you and the person leasing the stall were in agreement. I’m just not very sure how many people would go for that kind of a deal (unless they lived very close), if you are planning to provide only the stall and not to actually care for the horse. Horses have to be let out of their stalls and fed daily, and their stalls have to be mucked out daily if they are going to be in there for the majority of the time. Usually when people are looking for a boarder they are looking for someone to feed and basically care for their horse (not to ride it, just to provide basic neccessities).
